At Respect Badminton Club, we value students who are committed to their training, respect the Club and their teammates, and work hard both on and off the court. We want to encourage our students to continue developing their badminton skills while maintaining a strong commitment to their education.
 

The Grade 9 Continuing Membership Award recognizes students who demonstrate consistent participation, respect for the Club, positive conduct, and academic effort throughout the season. The award provides an incentive for students to continue their badminton journey with Respect Badminton Club as they enter Grade 10.
 

Membership Credit

Eligible Grade 9 students receive a membership fee credit toward their Grade 10 membership, based on their length of membership with Respect Badminton Club:

• One year of Club membership: 25% credit toward Grade 10 membership fees

• Two or more years of Club membership: 50% credit toward Grade 10 membership fees

The credit is applied directly toward the student's eligible Grade 10 membership fees.

Eligibility

To receive the Grade 9 Continuing Membership Award, a student must meet all applicable eligibility requirements:

• Club Membership: Be a registered member of Respect Badminton Club for the 2026–2027 season;

• Grade: Be completing Grade 9 during the current academic year;

• Attendance: Maintain an attendance rate of 85% or higher;

• Uniform: Wear the official Club shirt to 85% or more of classes;

• Academics: Maintain a school average of 85% or higher. A report card or other acceptable school documentation is required as proof;

• Conduct: Demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect, effort, and positive conduct; and

• Good Standing: Remain in good standing with the Club.

Important Information

The Grade 9 Continuing Membership Award:

• is a Respect Badminton Club membership fee credit;

• is intended to recognize commitment and encourage continued participation;

• may only be applied toward eligible Grade 10 membership fees;

• has no cash value;

• is not redeemable for cash; and

• is not transferable to another person.

The award is subject to the Club's registration policies, membership terms, attendance requirements, class availability, and any other applicable Club policies.

This award recognizes students who demonstrate a long-term commitment to our club, an exceptional work ethic, continuous improvement, and a strong dedication to their academic and personal growth.

Recipients may be eligible for up to 100% of their class fee (upfront fee discount + future club credit).

The actual award amount is determined on a case‑by‑case basis based on the student's commitment, growth, and circumstances. Incentives apply to select programs and schedules, and availability is subject to program capacity.
