2026-2027 Wednesday Pre-Competitive Class - Group Lesson

Badminton Training for youth 12 years and up at the Pre‑Competitive level in a group environment.

Group training classes are led by an NCCP Certified Provincial Badminton Coach.

Class Overview

This class is designed for junior high and high school students who wish to train and compete, but have not yet reached a competitive level.

Students must be familiar with the rules of the game and be capable of serving and maintaining a rally to participate.

An assessment is not required – this class is open to students who are ready to train at a higher level.

Time: Wednesday, 7:30pm - 9:30pm (weekly training, Oct–Jun)^

Season Membership / Club Dues

Early Bird – $600 (by Aug 31)

Special – $750 (by Sep 30)

Regular – $900 (after Sep 30) Payment must be completed within 48 hours to ensure your registration remains active. Failure to do so will result in cancellation, and your spot will be allocated to the next individual on the waitlist. ^Additional class may be to added in September at a different location, day and time.

Ensure you fully understand all terms and conditions before signing up:

***School doors open 10 minutes before and re-locked 10 minutes after the start time.

    If you are late, you will need to buzz the bell or knock the door or call one of the coaches to have someone come out to open the door.

***All participants are required to exit the school within 10 minutes at the end of the session.

** All participants are NOT allowed to walk around the school or use the lounge, can only stay inside the gym or on the hallway outside the gym. (You cannot use the washroom inside the gym, please use the one on the hallway)

***Only Participants are allow inside the gym, parents waiting need to stay outside in the hallways or school. 

*** No foods or drinks allowed inside the gym . (Except for water and sports drink in a closed cap bottle)

*** Non-marking clean indoor shoes are required inside the gym.  (no outdoor shoes inside the gym)

• All programs maybe cancelled if there are not enough registrant.

• Advance registration is required to attend each program.

•   Trial classes are just $30 per session if space is available. (Be sure to contact us before coming for a trial!)

• Time and location is subject to changes or cancellation due to weather or other reasons.

(Your program coordinator will notify you if there are any changes.)

• Participants must inform us in advance if they are unable to attend a class for any reason, enabling the coaches to adjust the training schedule accordingly.

• All training classes are done in a group environment. (Group lessons only)

• Game Day is for practice playing games against other students only. Coaching is NOT provided.

• The coordinator reserves the right to change the format of play and number of courts available on Game Days.

• All participants are expected to be on their best behavior and respect the rules and everyone.

• Anyone not following the rules or exhibiting misbehavior will be removed without a refund.

• Badminton Shuttles are included. Bring your own racquet, indoor shoes and wear athletic clothing.

• Wearing a mask is optional. Attendees will take their own risk at joining / playing.

• Membership/club dues are non-refundable, non-transferable to another program/class/day or person.

• There are no refund for cancellations of class by the city or school or facility owner .

(A make up day will only be offered if it is cancelled by our own club reasons.) • We will contact only registered members by email regarding any cancellations or changes.

**Payment is accepted via Interac e-Transfer or cash only.   **The late start pro-rate will be calculated based on the regular season dues.

Students may attend up to five make‑up classes for missed sessions, provided they give at least 24 hours' advance notice. Make‑ups are subject to space availability and must be completed within the same season. No refunds or credits are given for missed classes. No‑shows are not eligible for a make‑up.
